When Immigrants arrive in Austria they see, right at the entrance, a huge Sphinx. The monumental statue seems to be telling them: Solve-me or I will eat you!
The question is:
What is it if your education is not valid, if you need to stay longer until someone decides you can be released, if you want to marry a local and he or she needs to earn more than 1.200 Euros, and don’t forget that you need to speak the language better than locals?
Immigrant : Ummm ...that’s immigration in Austria.
Sphinx: You are correct. And do you want that?
Immigrant: Yeah!

Auf einer Insel Osterarm lebte eine Frau Werker, sie war sehr aktiv in der Politk. Dann hat sie Probleme mit der Regierung gehabt, sie konnte nicht mehr in ihrem Land wohnen und sie musste weglaufen.

Auf wohnender Suche von verschieden Länden, war sie in einem Nachbar-land dort konnte sie nicht bleiben, dann lief zu Fuß, fuhr mit einem Boot, flog mit einen kleinen Flugzeug, rollte mit dem Roller...

Sie war sehr froh, sie war in Afrika in einem bekannten demokratischen Land, reich und mit sehr gutem Gesundheitssystem, guten Schulen und die Demokratie war die stärkste von diesem Land.

May 1st, 2010 in Linz was really good.

We had a lot a fun. We lived our fantasies as radical cheerleaders with our clothing reflecting a play on a mix of genders with beards, mustaches, pink wigs and black and pink pom-poms.
We shouted out six different cheers like:

“To the Left , to the left, but never to the right”;
“Solidarity for the Sans Papiers”;
“Kein Menschen ist illegal, Bleiberechte überall!” etc.

Before the demonstration there was a contest for the best-masked costume, and we (maiz) were the winner of the Oscar of security policy - The golden safety pin!

Demorei em escrever esta semana... pois aqui em casa todos foram ao médico.
E o tema da próxima edição do migraZine é sobre saúde e a falta dela.

Estive fazendo pesquisas sobre o tema através do google, comecei a pesquisa no Brasil e terminei na Alemanha passando pelos Estados Unidos.

Segundo ano que sou convidada para fazer parte da mesa da discussão, segundo ano que não durmo para ir à discussão, me preparei demais, tanto que, que houve um momento que até esqueci o que ia falar. O nervosismo faz parte do processo.

Festa: Festa de 15 anos do maiz, já faz mais de uma semana que aconteceu e continuamos fazendo comentários sobre a festa.

O maiz cresceu... Mais de 40 pessoas empregadas, e não sei mais quantas, trabalhando como free-lance. Três sedes, e tudo isso não tinha sido imaginado no momento em que três mulheres brasileiras começaram esta associação. Três mulheres com messianismo, utopia e força.
Parabéns a elas, parabéns a todos que estiveram presentes e também a aqueles que gostariam de ter estado lá, mas não puderam Em breve colocarei fotos e o link para o catalogo dos 15 anos do maiz.

Es war unglaublich viel Arbeit und ich weiß, es ist der Beginn von noch mehr Arbeit … aber ich freue mich trotzdem total, dass der Relaunch von migraZine gelungen ist! – Auch wenn ich heute um 4 Uhr früh, als Vina und ich endlich damit fertig waren, nicht mehr genug Energie hatte, um diese Freude auch zu fühlen!
Ich wünsche uns allen viel Freude und Entdeckungslust! Mögen die Informationen, die es auf migraZine immer aktuell gibt, auch die viele Arbeit wert sein! ALSO: möglichst vielen Menschen von migraZine erzählen!

Queridas amigas leitoras e queridos amigos leitores, para chegar ao lançamento do migraZine, foi um ano de trabalho. Reuniões, emails trocados de noite e de dia.

Um dia eu estava no Brasil, Radostina na Bulgária e Vina em Viena, comunicávamo-nos com um objetivo em comum de fazer o migraZine dar certo.

Obrigada a todos que ajudaram a tornar isto possível.
